WHO I WORK WITH
Every IVF experience deserves support
First-timers
Starting IVF can feel overwhelming. An IVF doula helps you understand what to expect at each stage of treatment—consultations, testing, stimulation, retrieval, transfer, and the waiting periods in between. Together you can prepare questions for your doctor, clarify terminology, and think through decisions that may come up along the way. This support helps you enter treatment feeling more informed and grounded.
Experienced Patients
If you’ve already been through one or more cycles, continuing treatment can carry emotional weight. An IVF doula offers support as you process past experiences and approach next steps. This may include preparing for consultations, thinking through new treatment options, and identifying emotional triggers around appointments or results. The goal is to help you move forward with clarity and resilience.
Partners
Partners often want to help but may not know how best to support someone going through IVF. An IVF doula helps partners understand the treatment process and the emotional ups and downs that can come with it. This can include preparing for appointments together, navigating difficult conversations, and finding ways to stay connected as a couple during a stressful time.
Independent Patients
Going through fertility treatment on your own can feel isolating. An IVF doula provides steady support and a trusted sounding board as you navigate appointments, decisions, and emotions throughout the process. Having someone who understands the IVF journey can make it easier to process information and move through treatment with more confidence.
The cycle packages are designed to support you at the key moments when most people need guidance in their IVF Journey. We can tailor them to your individual needs, and I’ll be available for text and email support throughout.

FAQs
Common questions about IVF coaching and IVF Doula support.
How do I know if IVF is right for me?
There’s a lot to consider before taking the leap to start IVF. What kind of family do you envision for yourself? Are children important to you, and your partner, if you have one? Do you have health insurance that has fertility treatment benefits? How much can you budget? Do you have age or health considerations? Often, people find themselves starting IVF, without having had the chance to really think it through. Harbor has a list of questions to help you weigh your options, download it below!
What if none of the Doula packages fit my needs?
We also provide a complimentary 15-minute consultation call to find the right program for you or tailor costum support.
At what stage of IVF should I start working with a doula?
An IVF doula can help you from the very start of your journey, even while you are still deciding whether or not IVF is the right choice. Harbor’s first time consultation can help you weigh your medical options, establish your goals, support financial planning and budgeting, and provide a framework for making the decision whether to pursue IVF. For those who are ready to start a cycle, it’s a great time to start working with an IVF doula, to prepare for what ahead and develop a strong support system as you go into your cycle. For those who have already gone through extensive IVF, it’s also a great time to start working with an IVF doula to support a different kind of experience and the physical and mental endurance IVF can require.
Can my partner join the sessions?
Yes! If you would like to invite your partner to our sessions, they are welcome to join.
What if I really need to talk outside of our meeting time? Do you offer urgent support between appointments?
For those doing a cycle support package, I provide email and text support throughout the cycle, with a response time within 24 hours. For urgent medical matters, I will always advise you to contact your medical team. For those doing a 1-time consultation, I provide one email follow-up, but additional sessions can be booked.
